I have now revisited ALL the Airlaw questions and have updated all references, added in the answers with reference links to CAA/BMAA etc where you can double check. There are 75 questions and it took hours 🙂 Onward with the others now…

More SEO changes – have updated 2 or 3 of the pages which had some old code on them.  Also made the blog page a bit easier to read .

I have changed the home page to something more SEO friendly – with a load of easy to get links on there.

Also found a reference to replacement Ignition modules for Rotax, which apparently are better and cheaper than stock. (just search Ignition module)

Following some feedback from a whattsapp group – i have added in some missing airfields.
Some i missed, and a couple I didn’t know existed – like Thankerton

Ok, still work in progress – chasing better Google ranking and updating the airfields.. Working through the kneecards and creating new ones – i now have 16 airfields done – and the aim is to have kneecards for all Scottish airfields if i can

I have also gone back to the dormant facebook page, and I will start to do some bog updates on there and try and expand that as well. Links for the facebook page are on the site – please join up and pass the word . FB does seem to be the preferred media channel.

I have been doing a lot of work adding in SEO stuff in the background to get a better ranking on Google.

I have also created a “Kneecard” section on all the Airfield pages, and have started to create downloadable sheets for the airfields – which i use and find very helpful.  I would be interested in knowing if this helps anyone.

Well that was a long day. I found SO many errors and faults from pages and exams.
I’m not sure the exams were working properly at all.  But I’m reasonably confident that they are working now.
Also ran an SEO check on the site and had to update well over 100 pages, which should be good for Google.
Please let me know if you find any errors or if i have missed anything. 
I also have installed a new form plugin that keeps track of all entries so i should get them all now..

More rain – more website work…

Just for something different, i ran the website through a broken links checker, and found a whole load of broken ones.
Mostly links that referenced CAA and BMAA and NHS reference links that the third parties had changed. Took a few hours to get through, but i have fixed most of the important ones now.

Back to the Airfields 🙂
