PRESTART Checks - "STAMP"

Security:

• Check that both Pilot and Passenger are secure (Harness and Helmet strap)
  • **Pilot should physically check Passenger**
• Check Wing Hatches
• Check Brake ON

Throttle:

• Check that both hand and foot throttle are at idle
• Apply Choke if required

Area:

• Make sure area is clear of any other aircraft or pedestrians.

Mags:

• Switch on Master Ignition switch, and switch both Mag switches to ON

Prop:

• Cover the Microphone and shout the warning for starting up: "CLEAR PROP"
